A Deeper Look At The Venice Beach Canals

The Venice Beach Canals is one of Los Angeles’  few relatively car-free neighborhoods; a 4-block grid of ocean-fed waters linked by arched bridges and lined with homes spanning a variety of multi-cultural architectural styles and colors. Depending on the time of day, weather, season - even the clothes worn by strolling tourists - the reflections in the intersecting waters are perpetually transformed by their environment.  You can watch their jewel-like splintered imagery shift in color and shape from moment to moment - each one unique, fleeting, and obsolete.
